The
Puzzle
PUTTING TOGETHER THE
PUZZLE
Putting this
chart
together is compared to putting together a Puzzle.
This
chart is presented one piece at a time. As the pieces are being
put in
place, the students follow along by filling in a sheet that has a blank
outline
of the chart.
At first it is presented as a very quick overview of the Bible.
After
this Presentation the question is often asked, "Do you Get the
Picture?
" That is all it
usually takes: one Presentation lasting
about an hour. They will “get the picture.” This picture presents the full plan of
salvation and brings it all to the cross.
Have
you ever worked on a
puzzle that was a map? Well this Puzzle
is just that. Once fully assembled, the
Puzzle
picture forms a MAP that will help to navigate through the Bible.
Once
the students “get the
picture,” they are ready for the next step: assembling
their own copy of the chart by using the
CUT-AND-PASTE MAP OF
THE BIBLE booklet. There is a pull-out
centerfold section that has the basic lines. In the back of the
booklet
are sheets that contain the pieces to be colored, cut and pasted in
place. Step by step directions are in the
NOTEBOOK.
USING
THE NOTEBOOK
The NOTEBOOK walks you
through each section. Explanations are given for
each piece and detailed directions explain when and where to paste the
pieces. The teacher uses the NOTEBOOK to
guide the
students as they work on their charts. (It
is not necessary for the students to have a
Notebook.)
Each student will have assembled his own copy of the chart and have a
picture
of the Bible.
